West Point Shooting Update

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI)– West Point Police have charged the man they believe is responsible for shooting Dennis Ray Bean. Bean was shot Tuesday (8-28) night on Roger Road. According to a witness he was seen running through his backyard just after he heard shots ring out. Two suspects were arrested in connection with the shooting. Twenty-four year old Jonathan Guines, of West Point, and an unidentified man. The unidentified man arrested was released shortly after being arrested for being “in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Guines was charged with aggravated assault and is being held at the Clay County Jail. His bond is set at 200,000 dollars.
