Video: West Point Students Honor Their Mentors

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – West Point students time travel to the 50’s Friday to honor the people who help them every day.

Church Hill Elementary students held a sock hoppin’ performance for their mentors and volunteers in the community.

It was a celebration between the students and those in attendance, as the students dressed up in their 50’s costumes and showed off their skills during the lunch.

The class has been practicing since February, and they were chosen to perform based on parental involvement and their enthusiasm.
