Judd Wilson has been named vice president of the Chamber of Commerce for the Community Development Foundation (CDF). As vice president, Wilson will lead the Chamber division in the recruitment and retention of membership, as well as the planning and implementation of the Chamber programs including Wake Up! Tupelo/Lee County, the Taste of Tupelo, Chamber seminars, the Jim Ingram Community Leadership Institute and more.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Wilson served as CDF’s Director of Small Business Development for the Renasant Center of IDEAs, a role in which he will continue to serve.

“Everyday I get to see firsthand the tenants of the Renasant Center for IDEAs build a strong foundation by working together and networking, so I’m excited to facilitate that same process within the Chamber– assisting our members promote and grow their businesses through a variety of valuable Chamber programs and events,“ said Wilson.

“Judd’s marketing experience and business acumen has been an asset to the Renasant Center for IDEAs’ current business clients, helping us meet the needs of entrepreneurs in our area,” said David Rumbarger, president and CEO for the Community Development Foundation.  “I am excited for Judd to bring these skills to the Chamber, serving and promoting our entire membership within the community.”

Wilson previously served as a pharmaceutical sales representative, a profession that brought him to Tupelo over 17 years ago. He serves as a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo, and is active on the Tupelo Community Theatre Board of Directors. He is married to Martha Ann, and they have two children.
