Woman Arrested After Running Car Off Road

PRENTISS CO., Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – A woman is arrested last week for DUI and several other misdemeanor charges after running her car off a road.

Paula Mills of Booneville was arrested April 12th and transported to C_Userssmithid5DocumentsDocumentsPaula MillsPrentiss County Jail.

When she was being booked, Mills was asked if she had illegal drugs on her and was warned that it would be a felony if drugs were brought into the jail.

Mills said she didn’t have anything on her, then was later found to be in possession of Xanax.

She was then charged with possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility.

Mills was released on a $5,000 dollar circuit bond and a $5,500 dollar justice bond.

Reserve Deputy Blake Kelly later went to CR 5031 and found the vehicle Mills was driving at the time of her arrest.

Drug paraphernalia and beer were found in the vehicle, and Mills was also in possession of Suboxone.
