Video: Woman Injured In Lowndes County Crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A woman was injured Tuesday night after her vehicle collided with a trailer hauling furniture.

It happened on Highway 45, just south of Columbus Air Force Base, just after 8:30 P.M.

A witness tells WCBI the pick-up towing the trailer pulled out in front of the woman’s vehicle.

Traffic moved slowly until crews were able to clear the highway.

The extent of the woman’s injuries is not known.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
