Women’s Group Looks To Recruit New Members

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – A local women’s empowerment group is working to recruit new members.
“Power To Exhale” is all about connecting with positive women, who celebrate each other throughout the year.

The group gets together multiple times to fellowship with each other and destress.

Although the group is known nation wide, the Northeast Mississippi Chapter is hoping to expand their memberships.

Saturday, members were at a local political rally, spreading the word about what the group is all about.

“We do it all. We take care of everybody else but ourselves, so, Exhale is saying to ‘exhale.’ Take care of yourself, do something for yourself,” said Director of the Northeast Mississippi Chapter, Adrian Haynes.
