Video: Zombies Invade Columbus Air Force Base

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Columbus Air Force Base was covered with walkers for the second annual zombie 5K.

Participants had to wade through mud, climb over walls and dodge zombies throughout the course.

Other obstacles included a tire run and jumping over hurdles.

Each participant started the race off with two ribbons. If the runner had at least one left after the race, they avoided becoming a zombie.

Refreshments ad snacks were available for runners after they completed the course.
