STARKVILLE, Miss. (Press Release0 — Because of a hip injury suffered recently by bassist Dusty Hill, Mississippi State is announcing a rescheduling of the ZZ Top concert originally scheduled for Oct. 30.

The rock supergroup’s performance now will take place April 10, 2015 at Humphrey Coliseum.

University organizers said all individuals who purchased admission for the October date will have their tickets honored at the spring semester concert, and no further action is required on their part.

The blues-rock band — in which Hill is bass-guitarist — recently cancelled its fall tour through early November to accommodate his doctor’s orders.

The major MSU event is sponsored by Music Maker Productions, a long-established student organization that works to provide quality, contemporary entertainment for the campus community and beyond. For more, visit www.msuconcerts.com or telephone 662-325-2930.
