Notes: Ragsdale’s fumble recovery for a score came on the North’s first offensive play of the game.

Chris Cooper (NEMCC) served as place kicker for both teams.

Notes of interest: Mississippi Gulf Coast’s Travis Taylor had a fumble recovery at the 3:09 mark of the first half, but the North held the South to a punt on the ensuing possession.

Pearl River’s Leon Carlton picked off a North pass with 44 seconds to go in the first half that led to Cooper’s 37-yard field goal as time expired in the first half.

Hinds’ Kiwaski Tenner twarted the North’s final drive of the game with an interception in the end zone with 1:07 remaining in the game.

Awards: North Offensive Most Valuable Player went to Tyshun Austin of Coahoma Community College; North Defensive Most Valuable Player went to Kareem Brown of Northeast Mississippi Community College (Brown had four tackles and two pass breakups); South Defensive Most Valuable Player went to Rondrick Ragsdale of Hinds Community College; South Offensive Most Valuable Player went to Clint Hatten of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. The 39th Annual Mississippi Association of Community/Junior College (MACJC) All-Star Football Classic Most Valuable Player went to Rondrick Ragsdale of Hinds Community College.
