All-American and National Champion Barrett Jones to Speak at TCPS Family Event

BELDEN, Miss. (WCBI/TCPS) — Barrett Jones will be the featured speaker for Tupelo Christian Preparatory School’s “Raising Champions: A Family Affair”.

All-American and National Champion from Alabama Barrett Jones will be the keynote speaker at a special TCPS event coming up in March.

Jones just completed a career as an offensive lineman for the Alabama Crimson Tide. Noted for his versatility, Jones started three BCS National Championship Games (2010, 2012, 2013) all at different positions along the offensive line. Following the 2011 season, Jones was recognized as a consensus All-American, and won the Outland Trophy for the best lineman in college football. After another All-American season in 2012, he won the Rimington Trophy for the best center.

Jones is eligible in the 2013 NFL Draft and is considered one of the best offensive linemen of his class.

Tupelo Christian Preparatory School will host the night at Wesley Hall at First United Methodist Church in Tupelo, MS. The event will begin at 6:30 pm on March 21, 2013. The event will be open to the public. Dinner will be served. Tickets are $25.

All proceeds will go to the Tupelo Christian Preparatory School’s Athletic program. Sponsorships and tickets will be available for the night at www.tcps.net or you may purchase at the Tupelo Christian Preparatory School campus.
