Investigation Into Ole Miss’ Johnson Is Over

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – Rebels fans can let out a sigh of relief regarding the status of Ole Miss defensive end C.J. Johnson. The NCAA investigation into whether Johnson’s mother received any benefits from a Philadelphia, Miss., furniture store is over. The matter isn’t being pursued further.

Ole Miss and the NCAA were looking into the situation jointly. Ole Miss athletic director Ross Bjork said Wednesday that there was nothing out of line. He could not reveal the specifics of the investigation.
