OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI/Clarion-Ledger) — Andy Kennedy said today on ESPNU that Marshall Henderson has so far done what has been asked of him since being suspended indefinitely earlier this month.

“He is suspended indefinitely,” Kennedy said. “We don’t start back school until the end of August. There is a plan put in place from my administration through Marshall. Marshall’s been compliant to is point of taking care of some things off the court so that he can hopefully join us when the fall term begins at the end of August. And then we’ll start working through the process to get him back on the court.”

Henderson failed multiple drug tests and was also pulled over earlier this year with trace amounts of marijuana and cocaine in his car. He was not charged.

“We don’t condone everything Marshall has done, he’s certainly made some mistakes but we’re working through this as a family,” Kennedy said.
