Mississippi State, Memphis To Renew Football Series In 2021

STARKVILLE, Miss. (MSU Athletics) – Mississippi State and Memphis have scheduled a future home-and-home football series for the 2021 and 2022 seasons, it was announced Thursday.

The teams will meet at Liberty Bowl Stadium in Memphis on Sept. 18, 2021, with the second game being played at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville on Sept. 24, 2022.

The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 33-11 and have won 12 in a row dating back to 1994. The two teams will face off for the first time since State claimed a 59-14 victory on Sept. 1, 2011 in Memphis.
