Ole Miss Baseball on TV

The Ole Miss baseball team will be featured nine times on television this season, including three contests on ESPNU as a part of the Southeastern Conference television package, the league office announced on Friday.

Five of the nine television games for the 13th-ranked Rebels will be broadcast from Oxford-University Stadium this season. Ole Miss will be carried three times on ESPNU, three times on CSS and three times on Fox Sports family of networks.

As a result of the television schedule, some game times have been changed to accommodate the broadcast schedule.

Ole Miss’ three ESPNU games will be the Saturday home contest against Texas A&M (March 23 – 7:30 p.m.), the Thursday night Kentucky game (April 25 – 6:30 p.m.) and the Sunday game at Tennessee (April 21 – 1 p.m.).

The three CSS broadcasts will be for the Saturday game at Florida (March 30 – Noon), the Sunday finale against Alabama (April 14 – 1 p.m.) and the Sunday series finale against Mississippi State (May 12 – 1 p.m.).

Ole Miss will be on FSN twice this season, beginning with the Saturday series finale against Kentucky (April 26 – 2:15 p.m.) and the Saturday game at Auburn (May 4 – 2:15 p.m.). The Rebels will also be featured on Fox Sports Florida in the series finale when Ole Miss takes on the Gators (March 31 – Noon).

The Rebels open the 2013 season on Friday, February 15 against the 14th-ranked TCU Horned Frogs. First pitch for the series opener is set for 4 p.m. at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
