Quarterbacks Under The Microscope At Alabama’s A-Day Game

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WCBI Sports) – As the race for the University of Alabama starting quarterback spot continues, six players took snaps under center in Saturday’s A-Day Game.

Senior Jake Coker is the favorite by many to win the job. He completed 14-of-28 passes for 183 yards and one touchdown, but threw two interceptions.

Quarterback David Cornwell had 110 yards through the air on 12-of-24 passing, but also threw two interceptions.

The White Team defeated the Crimson Team, 27-14 in front of 65,175 fans, the ninth-largest spring game crowd in Alabama history.

Derrick Henry added 46 yards on the ground and one touchdown for the White Team. Robert Foster, playing for the White Team, led all receivers with 125 yards on six receptions, while the White Team’s ArDarius Stewart added 118 yards on seven catches, with a touchdown and a long catch of 40 yards.
