Rebels Lose 4-2 to William & Mary

RALEIGH, N.C. (WCBI Sports) – Ole Miss has lost its first game in the Raleigh, North Carolina regional 4-2 to the Tribe of William & Mary.

The Rebels brought the go-ahead run to the plate in the ninth, but a Stuart Turner flyout ended the game for Ole Miss.

Four walks and an error in the fifth inning plated four runs for William & Mary. Mayers left the game with no earned runs but six walks over four and two-thirds innings.

Will Allen and Stuart Turner each pushed a run across in the sixth and seventh innings respectively.

Ole Miss will play the loser of the N.C. State vs. Binghamton at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Raleigh.
