SEC Fines MSU For Cowbells, Ole Miss For Celebration

(WCBI Sports) – The SEC handed down some fines Friday, one involving cowbells. Mississippi State is slapped with its second infraction of the artificial noisemaker policy in the past three years. The university will have to pay a $25,000 fine.

The SEC also fined Ole Miss. The school will have to pay $25,000 for celebrating on the field after the Rebels’ win over LSU. It’s the school’s second violation of the league’s access to competition area policy. The other was last year’s Egg Bowl.
