THS Baseball Coach To Take On New Role

TUPELO, Miss. (Tupelo SD) – Dr. Gearl Loden is pleased to announce that Gary Enis has been named as one of the THS Athletics Game Administrators and will continue to teach at THS. Coach Enis has previously served as the THS head baseball coach for twelve years with at 284-106 record and as assistant coach for five years.

“I am very excited about working with student athletes and coaches in this new capacity within the Tupelo School District. My goal as an athletics game administrator is to instill in our student athletes the importance of sportsmanship and leadership,” stated Coach Gary Enis.

“Coach Enis has been a valuable asset to our athletic program as a head baseball coach, and we are pleased that he will continue to work in our athletic department. He will also be instrumental in assisting our athletic program and supporting our student athletics in a positive manner,” stated TPSD Athletic Director Dr. Eddie Moore.

A comprehensive search to find a head baseball coach will begin immediately. This position will be posted on the MHSAA website and in newspapers across the state.
