OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — D.K. is ready to take the national stage.

Oxford High School senior wide receiver Dekaylin (D.K.) Metcalf was presented his U.S. Army All-American Bowl jersey Wednesday at a special ceremony at the school.

D.K. is the first ever football player from Oxford High to be named to the prestigious national all-star game, which features the best high school football players in the nation.

Metcalf, an Ole Miss verbal commit, will join fellow Mississippi native Jeffery Simmons (Noxubee County) as high school football players from the Magnolia State playing in the game.
