HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – Mississippi broke the streak Saturday in the first game ever in the Magnolia State in the All-Star series with Alabama.

Mississippi won 28-21 over Alabama at Southern Miss, getting its first win in the matchup since 2007. Starkville’s A.J. Brown and Oxford’s D.K. Metcalf are named co-MVP’s for Mississippi. Gordo’s Ben Davis is named the Alabama MVP.
