Video: Moorhead Signs with Illinois Tech Soccer

FULTON, Miss. (WCBI/LetsGoICC.com) – Itawamba Community College women’s soccer coach David Strother has announced sophomore midfielder Megan Moorhead has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her career with the Illinois Institute of Technology Scarlet Hawks.

The Starkville native played in 25 games and started in all 15 games for the Lady Indians as a sophomore. Known for her defensive prowess, Moorhead scored one goal on two shots on goal as a freshman.

Moorhead is a biomedical engineer major and prepped at Starkville High School.

The Scarlet Hawks finished 9-7-4 last season and advanced to the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) Championships. Illinois Institute of Technology is a Division III program located in Chicago.
