OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) — It’s a new team with familiar faces for 2016 in Oxford.

Head coach Mike Bianco enters his 16th season with Ole Miss and sees similarities between this year’s team and the Ole Miss team that ran all the way to Omaha in 2014.

The Rebels will be a mix of young and experience in 2016, with Omaha experience in Errol Robinson, Colby Bortles and Brady Bramlett.

Ole Miss will also have New Hope graduate Will Golsan in his sophomore season with the Rebels as he makes the move to a new position in the infield.

The 2016 season begins for Ole Miss on Friday at 4:00pm against Florida International.
