Video: Ole Miss Steamrolls New Mexico State

OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI Sports) – Ole Miss bounced back Saturday from its loss at Florida a week ago, hanging more than 50 points on New Mexico State.

The Rebels (5-1, 2-1 SEC) cruised to a 52-3 win over the Aggies at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium. No. 14 Ole Miss led 31-3 at halftime behind 310 yards from junior quarterback Chad Kelly, including two total touchdowns.

The Rebels gained 665 yards of total offense. Junior wide receiver Laquon Treadwell finished with 136 yards receiving and two touchdowns.

Former Rebel Archie Manning and Hall of Fame member Jim Kelly are in attendance, the latter is the uncle of current Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly.

Ole Miss plays at Memphis next Saturday, Oct. 17. Kick off is set for 11 a.m. It’ll be televised on ABC.
