SALTILLO, Miss. (WCBI) — Two of the best to walk the halls at Saltillo High will continue to ball after graduation.

Seniors Jason and Jawon Smith made it official on Friday as the twin brothers signed their letters of intent to play for the ICC Indians and head coach Grant Pate.

Jason, a 6’4 forward, finished his senior season averaging 16 points and 6 rebounds per game while his brother Jawon, a 6’4 guard, finished his final year with the Tigers averaging 13 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists a game.

The two helped lead the Tigers to an appearance in the 5A State Tournament Quarterfinals last March and they are excited to be playing alongside one another once they leave high school.
