[syndicaster id=’6101284′] WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) — Sarah Dill is a top 5 in her class and is also the Senior Class President and is in many other school groups. Dill has also got her basketball team off to hot start with an 11 and 3 record. Here’s more with our student athlete of the week.

Sarah Dill has been playing basketball for Oak Hill Academy for the last six seasons. She’s also been Cheer-leading since the ninth grade and playing Tennis since the tenth grade. After her high school graduation, Dill plans to attend Ole Miss and major in Pre-Dental or Biology to become a Dentist and possibly go into Orthodontists.

“I’ve always had lots of teeth troubles and I’ve just gone to the orthodontist and the dentist a lot and it’s just really interesting just all that they can do and the process of getting your teeth to where they can be now and just all the technology that they have. it’s just a cool field,” said Student Athlete Sarah Dill.

“Sarah Dill is successful in the classroom and on the basketball court and her Head Coach and Teammate see the leadership she brings to the team,” said WCBI Sports Reporter Jonathan Flippo.

“Sarah has got a good work ethic. She worked really hard in the off season on her game. She’s very competitive. I think that’s the biggest thing about Sarah is she competes and she’s a good student, a great teammate. The kids look up to her. Just one of those people you want to be around,” said Head Coach Brian Middleton.

“She’s a really good athlete. She’s a really good friend and you can tell she’s really a good leader and like you can tell over the years that since she’s become a senior that she’s really stepping up and showing her leadership on and off the court,” said teammate Alice Wooten

Dill’s academics are top notch carrying an overall 4.1 G-P-A and she wants to leave a legacy and be remembered at Oak Hill Academy.

“I would say just being a good leader and a good friend on and off the court just so that everyone could see Christ shining through me and just everyone know that I have a good heart and I would like for everyone else to experience all that we’ve got to experience,” Dill said.

Oak Hill Academy will return to action Thursday evening when they host Winston Academy at 6 p-m.
