Amory Fire Department Search and Rescue K-9 found safe

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) – A valuable member of the Amory Fire Department is back home.

Tuesday morning, the agency said in a Facebook post its Search and Rescue K9 escaped from its enclosure.

AFD asked residents around Hatley-Smithville Road and Phillips Schoolhouse to be on the lookout for the runaway pup.

The agency said the escape artist was safe and secure as of Tuesday afternoon.
