Video: Lowndes Labor Day Shooting Arrest

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County deputies make an arrest in a Labor Day shooting at a gas station.

Kevin Lorenzo Hamilton, 31, is charged with three counts of aggravated assault and one count of a felon in possesion of a weapon.

His bond was set at $100,000.

One person was shot, but investigators say two other people were in the line of fire and that’s why Hamilton is charged with three counts of aggravated assault.

Gunfire erupted outside of Airbase Texaco on September 5th.

Deputies say Hamilton and the victim exchanged some words before the shooting.

Then a white truck left the store parking lot.

The victim did not have life threatening injuries.
