MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A new mail scam is targeting Monroe County residents.

According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, residents are receiving a Fed Ex package in the mail containing a U.S. Postal Service money order and a letter from a company called Presence Quality Control, USA. The letter says you have been selected to be a mystery shopper for Western Union and you should cash the money order, keep 100 dollars for yourself, and mail the rest to:

Olivia Killick
401 Lamentin 54
Port Au Prince, Haiti

This is a scam. If you receive a letter like this, report it to your local law enforcement agency, and never give out any personal information over the phone or through mail.
