Man Hurt In Columbus Motorcycle Crash Is Recovering

COLUMBUS (WCBI) – A Columbus man is recovering today after being involved in a motorcycle versus truck crash Friday night in Columbus.

Shawn Stallings was riding northbound on Highway 45 around 6 when the wreck happened . Police say a truck heading south on 45 was turning onto 31st Avenue near KFC when Stallings motorcycle hit the truck in the side.  Stallings was flown to North Mississippi Medical Center where he was initially listed in critical condition . A NMMC spokeswoman says Stallings remains hospitalized but his condition has been upgraded to good.  Columbus Police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
