MABEN, Miss. – (WCBI)Maben held its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. parade Monday.

Nearly one hundred people lined the route as the parade proudly made its way from the Public library to West Oktibbeha High School.

Organizers says Dr. King would be moved by the display of true community spirit.

“He would see improvement because as we come together as volunteers from different areas and begin to serve people, this is what he would love to see and we are going to carry his message on,” says event coordinator Rose Coffee Graham.

Mayor Larry Pruitt also participated in Monday’s parade.
