MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Two more people are in jail as the crackdown on drug trafficking in Monroe County continues.

Sheriff Cecil Cantrell says 18-year-old Raheem Warren of Smithville was charged with possession of cocaine for resale following a traffic stop in Amory.

He was a passenger in a car stopped in Amory by deputies, Amory Police and narcotics agents. When he was searched, officers say they discovered several grams of crack and powder cocaine.

In an unrelated case, Greg Burton, 412, of Aberdeen, was charged with selling marijuana following a search of his home on North Meridian Street.

The arrest is part of an ongoing undercover operation in the county.
