More Space for Lee County Supes

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lee County’s Board of Supervisors and staffers have new, and much more spacious office space. An open house was held at the new headquarters for the Lee County Board of Supervisors. Their new building is in the old CDF Building on Main Street, near the Lyric Theatre. CDF moved into their new offices near Fairpark earlier this year, and renovations have been going on in the meantime at the brick building at 3oo west main street. That building has served many functions in previous years.  It was a post office, it used to house chancery clerk offices and served other roles. Renovations cost about 400 thousand dollars from existing county funds.  There are also spaces for the public to use for various meetings and functions.
