Morning Fire At EMCC

MAYHEW, Miss. (WCBI)- An office in a building at EMCC suffered fire damage after a fire broke out sometime Sunday morning.

Fire crews responded to the call at 11:35am and extinguished the fire immediately. Damage was contained to the single office with minor smoke and water damage elsewhere in the building. 

East Oktibbeha Fire Rescue, Tibbee, and District 5 from Lowndes County all responded to the call.

No word yet on how the fire started.
