MSU Homecoming Queen, Court to Be Introduced

Senior Catherine “Caty” Steele of Indianola is the 2012 Homecoming Queen at Mississippi State University.

Other members of the Homecoming Court include senior maids Jessica Arnold of Jackson and Annie Cate Cregeen of Columbus; junior maids Jenni Brown of Winona and Whitney Ray of Pontotoc; sophomore maids Victoria Stein of Hattiesburg and Maura Trochessett of Ocean Springs; and freshman maids Elizabeth Daniels of Indianola and Margaret Ann Horton of Tupelo.

Crowning of the queen and presentation of her court and the new Mr. and Miss MSU will take place Saturday, Oct. 20 during halftime of the MSU-Middle Tennessee State University football game at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.

Seniors Morgan McDowell of Indianola and Sara Vance of Jacksonville, Fla., are Mr. and Miss Mississippi State University 2012. They, along with this year’s Homecoming Queen and court, will be presented Saturday, Oct. 20 during halftime of the MSU-Middle Tennessee State University football game at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field. McDowell is a marketing major and the son of Drew and Diane McDowell. Vance is a political science major and the daughter of Arie and Susanna Vance. They were chosen in recent campus elections.
