Ole Miss is playing host to a regional for the first time since 2009. Jacksonville State and Ole Miss will meet Friday night at 7. The University of Washington is the second seed in the Oxford regional and plays Georgia Tech at 3 Friday afternoon.

As fate would have it, the Oxford regional is paired with the Lafayette regional in the brackets. That means if both MSU and Ole Miss win their regionals. A best of three super regional would take place in Oxford between the two schools with that winner advancing to the College World Series

Alabama will see its road to Omaha drive start in Tallahassee , Florida. The Crimson Tide is the number 2 seed and will play Kennesaw State in the opening round. Top seed Florida State and Georgia Southern round-out that regional.
