Video: MUW Police Investigating Man Exposing Himself On Campus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI-TV) – Police say today a man has been exposing himself to people on the MUW campus this week.

MUW police say they have a description of a man who exposed himself to students and staff in two separate incidents Monday. This happened in the northwest part of campus.

The suspect is described as a black man with medium complexion, around six-feet tall, in his late 20s or early 30s.

Reports say he’s been wearing gold glasses and has been walking around campus.

School officials say he could be dangerous, and students could help find him.

“We do need their assistance,” MUW Police Officer Randy Vibrock said. “They have more eyes than we do. So anytime they see someone that’s suspicious, which is anything that is not normal activity, please report immediately and let us respond.”

Police say a man matching that description was involved in a similar incident a few weeks ago. The Columbus Police Department is helping in the investigation.

There were a total of nine sexual assault or rape investigations Columbus in January and February. WCBI has requested information regarding whether these cases are related.
