[bitsontherun nHoFi251]ITAWAMBA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Three new board members say they want to bring stability back to the Northeast Itawamba Water Association.

Reed Adams, Steve Holcomb and Oneal Hammock are joining the board which oversees a utility that has been plagued by complaints of poor service, erratic billing and lost water. Adams and Holcomb have served on the board previously.

They fill vacancies created when Brian Cunningham, Eunice Mayhall and Lemois Oswalt resigned earlier this month following a heated public meeting with Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley.

The utility says it is working with Presley and the state health department to correct problems for its 18 hundred customers.
