No Sunday Beer Sales in Winona

WINONA, Miss. (WCBI) – You won’t to be able to buy a beer in Winona on Sunday anytime soon.

Some restaurant and convenience store owners had been pushing City leaders to allow beer sales from 1 until 7 p.m. on Sundays.

After about 10 minutes of discussion, Ward 5 Alderman Franklin Seals brought up the motion at Tuesday’s (9-17) Board meeting, but it died for lack of a second.
