MACON, Miss. (WCBI)- A jury has been selected in the second murder trial of a Macon man.

24 year-old Lamarcus Jones is charged in connection with the fatal shooting of Arveo Lane.

The crime happened outside the “Q-5” club in Macon in August of 2008.

Circuit court judge Jim Kitchens will hear hear the case.

Jones first stood trial in March, but that ended in mistrial.

Jones is currently free on a $75,000 dollar bond. Mareno Hubbard is also charged with murder in this case.

Jury selection began Monday (9-24-12) morning and ended Monday afternoon.

Opening statements are set for Tuesday (9-25-12) morning at 9.
