NOXUBEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) -The second murder trial of a Noxubee County man accused in a 2008 shooting ends in a mistrial

Judge Jim Kitchens declared a mistrial Friday (9/28) evening after one of the jurors was reportedly arrested for perjury.

25 year old Lamarcus Jones was charged in the August 2008 shooting death of Arveo Lane, at the “Q-5” club, in Noxubee County.

His first trial in March of this year also ended in mistrial, after a juror had to leave for her father’s funeral.

Jones’s third trial is set for March 2013.
