WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Students from Oak Hill Academy are putting their feet to work to raise money for some much needed school equipment.

Elementary and Junior High students participated in the second “Walk for Technology” event. Students pledged to walk for their time period and collected sponsorship dollars to help purchase a wireless system for IPads. The price tag for the big purchase is $25,000. Tuesday students walked around the football field for their pledges. Last years event raised close to $15,000 and organizers are hoping to do the same.
