OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The key to being Army strong is to eat healthy and exercise.

West Oktibbeha County children learned the importance of staying healthy from members of the military, Monday.

Soldiers from all branches of the military set up booths in the cafeteria at West Oktibbeha County, to hand out information and answer children’s questions about health and wellness.

It’s part of Health Literacy Month.

Monday’s fair was conducted by the Controller’s Generation 2 extension of the 4h-Club.

    This was very good. The Controllers Generation II 4-H Club are very active in the community. I am going to work with them and plans are in progress to help them get a van so that the children can continue doing activities throughout the surrounding are. Thank you for covering them. Special thanks to their leader, Rose Coffey-Graham for doing a good job along with the other leaders.
