One Person Injured in Truck Accident

LOWNDES CO, Miss. (WCBI)- The Mississippi Highway Patrol is investigating an accident involving an 18-wheeler and a trailer.

The wreck happened on Highway 45 near Lindsey Ferry Road.

One person was injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

It’s still unclear how the accident happened. The accident caused gravel to spill all over the roadway.

One of the trucks involved is a Noxubee County Road Department vehicle. We’ll keep you updated as soon as we get more information.
