PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)–People in Pontotoc County will be busy rolling up their sleeves in an effort to fix up their local park. Saturday(9-22), work will begin at 8am and end at 12pm on the Howard Stafford Park. Recently, alderman voted unanimously to allocate $23,180 on funds to purchase paint, shrubs, rocks, and other landscaping materials for the Toyota Work Day. Toyota is providing 600 people to come out and help with the landscaping. The mayor says they plan to also build a walking track around the water.
