NEW ALBANY, Miss. (WCBI) -The Union County heritage Museum is taking visitors back to the 1930s at Pioneer Heritage Days.

Live exhibits and demonstrations include presenting the tools, playthings, comforts, and entertainments.

The exhibits include a look inside an early 1900s clinic, wood-cutting and corn shelling demonstrations. Visitors also get a glimpse at what it was like to do laundry during the time.

Folk music, a Civil War peddler, and a blacksmith shop will also be there.

Live demonstrations Thursday and Friday are aimed at school-age children.

Saturday, the museum will open to the general public at 9 a.m.
