COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It was a full house Saturday at the American Legions in Columbus to wish fair well to three retiring police officers.

The celebration brought the community and law enforcement together to share laughs, enjoy good food and fellowship.
Among the retirees were Ross Richardson, Carol and Glen Culpepper. Many were sad to see them go.

“You got a lot of camaraderie and brotherhood. We’re all like one big family, whether it’s the police department or sheriffs department we’re all brothers in blue,” said Lt. Clint Sims.

Together the three offices have served in law enforcement over 50 plus years.
