Lt. Governor Reeves Named To Another Term

JACKSON, Miss. (PRESS RELEASE) – Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves will serve on the 2016 executive committee of the Republican Lieutenant Governor’s Association, the organization announced today.

He joins RLGA Chairman Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch of Wisconsin and Co-Chairman Lt. Gov. Mark Hutchison of Nevada in the mission to recruit, support and elect Republican lieutenant governors and candidates in states across the country.

Lt. Gov. Reeves is former chairman of the RLGA, which is part of the Republican State Leadership Committee.

“I appreciate being chosen to serve as part of the RLGA’s leadership team, which supports strong conservative candidates for lieutenant governor across the nation,” Lt. Gov. Reeves said.

“Conservative policies are proven at the state level, and that would not happen without the responsibility the RLGA has in electing Republican lieutenant governors. Being an election year, the RLGA will play an important role in supporting leaders who believe in smaller government, balanced budgets and building back Main Street businesses.”

Other members of the 2016 Executive Committee are: Arkansas Lt. Gov. Tim Griffin; Florida Lt. Gov. Carlos Lopez-Cantera; Georgia Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle; Iowa Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds; Kansas Lt. Gov. Jeff Colyer; North Carolina Lt. Gov. Dan Forest; Oklahoma Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb; Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick; and Utah Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox.
