OXFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – The SEC is ranked first and second among the nation’s top college towns. Livability.com ranked Oxford second for it’s genteel atmosphere even when more than 65-thousand screaming football fans roll into town. The website also notes the city’s cultural and recreational resources from museums and theater programs. College Station, Texas, home to Texas A&M, was ranked first, while Logan, Utah, Champaign, Illinois and Lawrence, Kansas rounded out the top five.
