Two Charged With Helping Escapee

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Two men are accused of helping a Calhoun County inmate escape from jail.

Jason Williams and Barry Tuck are both charged in the investigation.

Williams is charged with aiding and abetting an escapee. Tuck is charged with obstruction of justice.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says phone records connected the duo to escaped inmate Daniel Easley.

Pollan believes the men possibly helped Easley after he escaped and provided false information to law enforcement.

Easley remains on the run.
