David LindleySTARKVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) Starkville Police Chief David Lindley has been placed on paid administrative leave.

The decision came, after the Starkville Board of Alderman held a special meeting Friday afternoon.

Starkville Mayor Parker Wiseman says former Assistant Chief of Police John Outlaw will assume Lindley’s duties, in the interim. This move is effective immediately.

Because this is a personnel matter and was discussed in executive session, few details are being released.

Yea that sounds about right. But let someone get pulled over or whatever and their name and what they did is all in the police blotter. What a the difference! O wait I forgot he’s got a badge
